Job Requirements

As a Wolf Purchasing Representative, employees will perform all job functions related to the Procurement Department’s Key Business Processes. They include but are not limited to Purchasing Customer Product, Inventory Management/Analytics, Material Maintenance, Price Changes, Invoicing Direct Shipments and Vendor Engagement

• Evaluate and maintain appropriate inventory needs across multiple stocking plants by means of system generated requisitions, SAP forecasting recommendations and program terms. You will perform supporting job functions related to our Procurement Department’s key business processes

• Execute the ordering of stock, non-stock and direct shipments of customer product

• Maintain appropriate stocking levels while maximizing turns & customer satisfaction

• Evaluate vendor base to ensure accurate cost, timeliness of delivery and quality of service

• Assist timely with daily e-mails requests from internal and external groups

• Assist in gather information for the creation of material items/SKUs

• Assist in facilitating price changes, by updating stock matrix, price pages and cost sheets

• Perform various timely customer billing functions pertaining to direct shipments

• Administrate customer consignment inventory and sales related activities

• Function as a product knowledge expert for materials that WOLF procures

Experience, Skills, Qualifications, and Education Required

  • • Read, Speak and Write English

    • High School diploma or GED

    • Occasional Travel

    • Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel……Data entry as well as Keyboard navigation and accuracy

    • Experience with SAP preferred but not required

    • Previous experience in purchasing related activities preferred but not required
