Job Requirements

  • Supervise drivers in assigned transportation business unit in conjunction with the Regional Fleet & Driver Manager.
  • DOT Compliance: follow all DOT Rules and Regulations and ensure that Wolf Logistics, LLC is DOT compliant.
  • Create and manage deliveries and shipments within SAP
  • Efficiently route deliveries to customer locations and minimize transportation costs by utilizing routing and mapping software such as PC Miler or other applications.
  • Plan and manage the use of logistical equipment. i.e.: powered units, trailers, etc.
  • Process and manage daily return/exception paperwork and ensure the recovery timeline is communicated to the external customer
  • Interact daily with a variety of personnel and customers including drivers, warehouse personnel, customer care, administrative reps, sales consultants, vendors, and various management/corporate level positions.
  • Manage paperwork flow for all aspects of deliveries including reverse logistics
  • Coordinate and assist with other transportation need such as parcels, customer pickup orders, LTL’, stock transfers, and drayage.
  • Assist management with special projects and perform analysis of departmental reports as requested. i.e.: driver scorecards that measure performance and safety compliance

Experience, Skills, Qualifications, and Education

Required (R) or Desired/Preferred (D)

(R) Read, Speak and Write English

(R) College Degree or minimum of 10 years’ experience in transportation

(R) Proficient with PC, Microsoft, and other software applications

(D) Mechanically inclined

(D) CDL Class A License

(D) Ability to travel
