JOB POSTING: Regional Vice President (East Territory)

Job Details
-The Regional Vice President of the East, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, will provide sales leadership and sales execution to the states of New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia and Central & Eastern Pennsylvania.
-The successful candidate will provide strategic sales oversight for the region’s long and short-term performance and drive margin growth, while supporting the Company in all commercial, financial, and strategic matters of the assigned territory. S/He will cultivate, nurture and align the great culture at WHP, while operating with humility and servant leadership with employees, customers, and suppliers but also be commercially aggressive in pursuing opportunities in the market.
-The Regional Vice President will effectively communicate and foster growth among the management team and all direct employees. This is a vital leadership role that will drive results, spur growth, and increase the overall efficiency of the business unit. The Regional Vice President will lead key initiatives focused on tailoring the Mid-Atlantic sales team to improve the customer experience, increase operational efficiency, while striving to perfect the market entry/strategy, pricing optimization, and providing leadership in all company-driven integrations. S/He will deliver results by implementing and leveraging WHP systems, processes, and technologies to grow the business.
-Lastly, the role requires advanced experience in sales leadership, relationship building, excellent communicator, servant leadership and the ability to motivate and work alongside a great Sales Team. He / she should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sales Force.

Job Requirements

 Meet or exceed the Regional Sales Budget. 
 Lead and develop the Regional Sales Team so that each consultant achieves their goals.
 Oversee all aspects of regional sales activities, controlling the Regional Sales and Expense budget, as well as overall profit center financial performance. 
 Provide leadership and guidance by establishing effective goals, communicating company policy, and providing necessary instruction and feedback.
 Analyze and report on all aspects of Regional Sales performance. 
 

Experience, Skills, Qualifications, and Education
Required (R) or Desired/Preferred (D)
 (R) Read, Speak and Write English
 (R) High School Diploma or GED
 (R) College Degree or 5 years of Sales Management experience
 (R) Ability to understand balance sheet, income statement and prepare financial budget
 (R) Ability to travel
 (R) Proficient with PC and Microsoft software applications
 (D) Experience with SAP
 (D) Experience in Kitchen Cabinetry or Building Products Sales
